What are Juvederm® Dermal Fillers?

Have you noticed that your cheeks have begun to look hollow, or that the lines around your nose and mouth look deeper? Dermal fillers can treat these concerns and many more. These versatile materials let your expert injector smooth, sculpt, and restore your features.

What are Juvederm® Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are biologically safe materials that add volume to the skin. Providers use dermal fillers to restore or enhance your appearance with youthful-looking fullness. Juvederm® fillers come in a variety of formulations for use in different areas of your face. This flexibility lets your Baltic Beauty Centre injectors choose the right formula for you.

How Do Juvederm® Dermal Fillers Work?

Juvederm® uses hyaluronic acid (HA), the most popular dermal filler material. Your skin naturally produces HA, a molecule that attracts and locks in moisture. HA makes an excellent material for dermal fillers because it can form cross-links and chains that change its properties. Juvederm® fillers vary in how thick, flexible, and resilient they are, making each one suitable for different areas of your face.

What Can Juvederm® Treat?

The Juvederm® collection of fillers has a member for almost every application. Your provider can use Juvederm® dermal fillers to treat:

  • Loss of facial volume
  • Hollow cheeks
  • Thin lips
  • Deep lines and wrinkles
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Marionette lines
  • Hollows under the eyes
  • Weak chin
  • Fine lines around the mouth
  • Other areas as needed

Juvederm® fillers work well for any of these applications. Your Baltic Beauty Centre provider may choose a brand other than Juvederm® if that will give you the best results. We are committed to your satisfaction rather than to one specific product.

Juvederm® or Botox®?

You may wonder which of these two injectable treatments will work best for your lines and wrinkles. They are not interchangeable and work in different ways. Botox® treats lines and wrinkles caused by repetitive facial motions. These include crow’s feet and frown lines. Juvederm® works by plumping the skin to smooth wrinkles. You can have both products at the same time for comprehensive anti-aging results.

How Long Do Juvederm® Dermal Fillers Last?

Dermal fillers last until the body eventually removes the material. Because HA does not typically trigger any reaction from the body, your Juvederm® fillers can stay in place for a long time. Juvederm® fillers usually last for six months to two years, depending on the location and formula.

Am I a Good Candidate for Juvederm®?

You may be a good candidate for Juvederm® if you want to add or restore volume to your features. Other good candidates want to address lines and wrinkles. You may not be a good candidate if you have had a reaction to other HA products.
